Nick became a board member of MIFWA in August 2014 and was elected as Treasurer shortly after. His commercial skills coupled with extensive corporate governance, risk and compliance experience are a significant asset to MIFWA.
Like many members of the community, Nick has family members who have been affected by mental illness, and he is passionate about contributing to services and organisations that improve and assist the experience of the individual and family on their journey.
Nick was recently the Chief Financial Officer and Company Secretary of the St Ives Group, one of Western Australia’s leading providers of retirement villages and home care to the elderly. Nick is trained as an auditor and has undertaken various commercial roles across a range of different industries, both in the UK and Australia.
Nick brings insight and commercial rigour to the strategic challenges facing community organisations, and he is passionate about helping MIFWA to realise its competitive advantage and to deliver valued services that meet the needs of the community
