MIFWA’s our primary strategy through to 2030 will be to grow our support to West Australians, delivering relevant and effective services co-designed, developed and guided by lived experience.
We will grow on our position as a key influencer and contributor in reforming the mental health system to be more human-centric and responsive. We will explore new revenue sources and seek further government support to diversify our focus across community-based services, services that mutually support families, parents, and carers, and capacity-building services such as training.
We will sustain our successful NDIS program and support community need in the Perth metropolitan area, while continuing to balance quality with the cost pressures associated with challenging pricing models.
We will remain agile and adapt to the reform of the scheme, ensuring financial sustainability. We will explore new service offerings and models within the NDIS that align with our expertise.
We will continue to advocate to Government on behalf of the people we support, and to take an active role in the design and impact of the mental health system in WA.
We will continue to build on our capabilities to ensure we are positioned to sustain our reputation and quality and make a significant difference as a leading community mental health specialist provider in WA.
